This 5-day comfort safari allows us to discover the highlights of the Northern Safari Circuit. We will discover breathtaking wildlife in the heart of varied landscapes: monkeys in the forest, lions in the trees, elephants among the acacia trees and a wide variety of animals in the heart of a collapsed volcano. We will also visit Serengeti National Park, home to some 3 million animals. These spectacular grassy plains offer the best opportunity to observe cheetahs, leopards, rhinos and lions in the wild.
Day
After breakfast, departure. First stop in Arusha for last-minute shopping before setting off on safari. Then head to Tarangire Park for a safari with a picnic lunch. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant population and baobab trees. It is the centre of an annual migration cycle involving up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeests and 30,000 zebras.

Rise and shine in the morning after breakfast at Robin Serengeti Camp, enjoying game viewing en route to Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In the evening, check in at Ngorongoro Wild Camp for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, you will descend more than 600 metres into the crater to observe the wildlife. With a year-round supply of water and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippopotamus and giant African elephants. Another major attraction of this picturesque park is its large population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, an oversized but shallow alkaline lake located in the south-western corner, one of the most remarkable sites in the crater. It is usually home to an impressive number of flamingos, hippopotamuses and other water birds.
