Welcome to Tanzania's northern circuit! Welcome to Arusha, the ‘Geneva of Africa’! Your safari adventure begins in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania's northern circuit. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our guide will welcome you. You will then board a vehicle and head to Arusha for dinner and the night. After settling into your accommodation, you will have time to freshen up and enjoy an African meal. After dinner, you will return to your room to rest and discover the incredible richness of a night in Africa.

After breakfast, departure. First stop in Arusha for last-minute shopping before setting off on safari. Then head to Tarangire Park for a safari with a picnic lunch. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant population and baobab trees. It is the centre of an annual migration cycle involving up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeests and 30,000 zebras.
AccommodationDay
You will never forget your stay in the Serengeti. It may be the sight of leopards and cheetahs, revealing their talents as formidable hunters of the plains and valleys. Or that unforgettable moment when a family of elephants feeds next to your vehicle, so close that you could almost reach out and touch them. Or the first time you hear a lion roar. And then there are the herds of buffalo, zebra and wildebeest, so imposing that they move in unison on the horizon, like a river. All these experiences are possible in the Serengeti, one of the most beautiful parks in Africa.
AccommodationDay
After breakfast, you will drive north through the Serengeti, stopping to admire other wonders along the way! Although it is home to abundant wildlife, the Serengeti is best known for its annual great migration. During this period, large numbers of wildebeest, zebras and antelopes move in an annual cycle, constantly searching for fresh pastures. The migration can take place any month of the year, you just need to know where to look! At this time of year, the migration usually takes place in the northern Serengeti.

Today, you will witness the spectacular Great Migration of wildebeests and their crossing of the Mara River. On their long journey from the Serengeti to Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve for the mating season, the wildebeests are accompanied by other species such as zebras, impalas and gazelles. After breakfast, you will embark on a day-long safari along the Mara River. With a little luck, you will be able to witness the crossing, where hundreds of wildebeests brave the crocodile-infested waters on their way to the Mara. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a picnic before setting off on another safari in search of other wildlife. You will then return to camp for dinner and the night.
AccommodationDay
This morning, you will drive leisurely through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing other animals along the way (it is common to see giraffes on the green slopes). You should reach the crater in time for lunch. When you first see the Ngorongoro Crater, it looks like a forgotten world. Untouched wilderness lies behind the steep volcanic walls, with vast savannahs, acacia forests and sparkling lakes and swamps. The crater was formed by the explosion and collapse of a large volcano two to three million years ago. The drive down into the crater is an adventure in itself, and once at the bottom of the crater, you will quickly find yourself surrounded by a multitude of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and more than 500 species of birds. The crater offers the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands. After an afternoon game drive, you will transfer to your accommodation in Karatu.
AccommodationDay
This morning, you will set off for Lake Manyara National Park, the final destination of this epic safari! Manyara is a small but diverse park located 120 km west of Arusha. Everything you discover here is out of this world. Compact (one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and majestic (the Great Rift escarpment dominates the western edge of Lake Manyara), it owes its name to a shallow salt lake. This lake covers a large part of the park, flooded and dried up with the seasons, and is home to thousands of wading birds (including flamingos and more than 500 other species of birds). You may spot baboons and elephants in the park's thick evergreen forest, and observe the tree-climbing lions, famous throughout Africa.
